Workplace and Business Mediation
When employees or business partners have conflicts, it can affect all aspects of a company. Mediation provides both parties a safe and confidential space to express their points of view and express the impact that the conflict is having on them. It then allows them to harness their strengths and work towards a resolution that can work for both parties. Empowering employees to resolve such conflicts in a safe an confidential space can have a great impact on a workplace environment.
Family / Teen Mediation
Finding peace within a family is a beautiful thing. When conflict arises to disturb that peace, mediation can provide a calming environment that allows all members of the family a voice in resolution.
My Approach
At Resolved Mediation Services Inc., Jerusha is trained to facilitate a conversation that is both respectful and productive. This process begins by determining an agreed upon agenda of issues that need to be dealt with, and then guide the meeting to ensure all topics are addressed. In addition, it is the utmost importance that the mediator ensures that both parties are not only able to voice their opinions, but that they truly listen and hear the other party.
In most cases, both parties can expect that they will be together in a room with the mediator. However, in some situations it may be necessary for the mediator to separate the two individuals. In these situations, the parties will remain separate and the mediator will move between the two groups working towards a successful resolution.
The mediator will work with each client to determine the best form of mediation that will work for their circumstances. The mediator doesn't have a stake in the outcome, they are there to ensure the process of dispute resolution was fair and that all parties were able to contribute to a solution that can work for all parties.
